About Olu A.
I am a huge people person and spent several years in healthcare. While working in that industry, I found myself needing more technical skills and decided to learn HTML/CSS and Python through Teamtreehouse and CodeAcademy.
After that, I was hooked! My interest lead to more technical reading material on web design, hackathons, and meetup groups. This taught me how to communicate with a team, manage time, and delegate tasks. Most importantly, this experience unveiled my strengths, weaknesses, and where I needed to improve.
Feeling the need to grow, I landed an internship as a Front-end QA Tester for a non-profit here in the Bay Area where I assisted with test plans, conducted pre-release testing, and helped troubleshoot issues. On top of that, I assisted with event coordination (25+ events per week) which taught me how to manage, prioritize, and adapt my workload.
In February 2019, I earned the opportunity to be a Data Operations Analyst Intern at Salesforce. I supported the data management processes across several marketing systems through identifying, analyzing, and scrubbing potential contacts, accounts, and lead opportunities. To improve the quality of data, I had to learn how to think critically and problem solve in new and exciting ways.
As of January 2020 I have been working at Cisco Systems as a Data Analyst.
