I like to make music lessons fun! We will talk about how music should be less focused on impressing people, but focusing on the sounds that we are creating! The less we make to impress the less we stress!! Clarinet lessons should not be a source of stress, but an escape. A place where you are free to explore your creative ideas. As a clarinetist and founder of Womxn Mean Business, an organization created to discuss gender equity in the arts, I make sure that my students also get the full range of knowledge and study of classical clarinet music-not just the Eurocentric based standard curriculum!

Hello! My Name is Olivia! I have a Bachelor's degree from The Eastman School of Music in clarinet performance! I've studied with members of The Boston Symphony Orchestra, Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra and The All- Star Orchestra. I have experience with orchestral, wind ensemble, chamber, solo and competition performance preparation! I have been teaching private lessons since 2011 in high school, and continued to teach lessons at The Eastman School of Music to jazz musicians! I like to make my lessons as fun as possible, taking into account your goals as a musician!
