I have been singing since I could talk. For many years I studied under vocal coach Ron Browning who has coached 5 time Grammy winner Wynonna Judd, 6 time Grammy Winner Amy Grant, Rachel Price of Lake Street Dive and many others.
I will help to free up your authentic voice so we can safely tackle techniques across styles from blues to jazz to folk to bluegrass. Most importantly we will have fun!

- Teaching since:
I absolutely love teaching music and believe it one of the most powerful tools of expression. I work to give my students the tools to express themselves, which include repertoire, technique, knowledge of music theory and musicality. I also have extensive experience with the music industry i.e. booking tours, working with publicists, auditioning and more. I am a current Berklee College of Music student, mandolinist, guitairst, pianist, vocalist and songwriter, and have extensive knowledge of music theory, ear training, jazz, funk, brazilian choro, pop, blues, contemporary bluegrass, folk and classical music. I have worked as an assistant teacher for elementary and middle school students and at Berklee’s Global String Intensive, developed a curriculum and taught private lessons on my own, my major at Berklee is Professional Music with focuses in Music Education and Songwriting and I currently run the Berklee Mandolin Orchestra. In addition I have written, crowd funded and recorded two records of my own (Produced by Grammy - Nominee Neilson Hubbard) and shared the stage with Chris Thile, Amos Lee, Tim O’Brien, Mary Gauthier, Langhorne Slim, Sierra Hull, Elephant Revival, Aoife O’Donovan, and David Grisman.
I love teaching and have extensive experience adapting to students’ individual needs, and keeping it fun and engaging for them. As a teacher I care just as much about my students’ wellbeing as I do their musical skills, because I believe the two are intertwined. As a person with marginalized identities, I know how important it is to see one’s identity reflected back in music and art. My goal is to be a safe space and provide the tools so that students can find their voice, both musically and personally.
I have a true appreciation for Oliver, as a musician, songwriter, and most of all, as a person. You will not be disappointed if you choose to take lessons; having done so I find myself a better human being.
