Hi everyone. My name is Odalys. I was born in Puerto Rico, raised in south NJ. My father was a cook in the army which is where I get my love for cooking. As for my passion for food I can not tell you.... I am obsessed. My whole childhood I wanted to be a cook. I watched all the cooking shows. Right after high school I attended Culinary school for a year and a half until I realized I did not want to work fifteen hours in a hot sweaty kitchen with a hairnet, no makeup on, and no finger nail polish. I did end up dropping out but I never stopped cooking. I show my love through feeding my family very delicious simple meals. I am a busy mom of two. Most days I get home at 5pm, go to the gym till 7, that gives me one hour to go grocery shopping and have dinner ready by 8pm. I want to share with you all, easy 30 min or less meals, super simple crock pot meals, 5 ingredient meals, and even using only what is in your pantry meals. Some of my favorites are shrimp and grits, buffalo chicken mac and cheese, honey glazed salmon with wasabi mashed potatoes, 5 ingredient orange chicken and jasmin rice.
