    About Naomi F.

    With a Bachelor's degree in Music Performance from Pacific Lutheran University, Naomi offers one-on-one clarinet or saxophone instruction molded to fit each student. Naomi has been teaching privately since 1998 and works with the Maple Valley Youth Symphony as the single reeds coach. She also volunteers with the Tahoma and Kent School District Band Programs, and is the clarinet consultant for Auburn Riverside High School's award winning bands. She also is a substitute teacher for Music Works Northwest. An accomplished musician, Naomi holds a permanent clarinet position with the Olympia Symphony Orchestra, and plays alto saxophone with the Maple Valley Big Band. She also subs with groups all around the Puget Sound. Let's start learning today! *** Lesson Details *** Lessons are every week, 30 - 60 minutes in length and focus on fine tuning each students' abilities, as well as learning music that suits the students' interests. Naomi runs a full studio, so she will only be scheduling students who choose a reoccurring lesson schedule. *** Studio Equipment *** Kirmser Academy of Music - sound proof studio space with music stand and small waiting area. Free Saturday seminars are offered through the Music Trader. Maple Valley Youth Symphony Studio - private studio with music stands. Waiting area includes a small kitchenette and free WiFi.
