Hello! My name is Norma and I have been a teacher for over 12 years. I've had some really wonderful opportunities that have developed and honed my abilities to educate young minds and grow as an educator. Though I understand the climate we live in for teaching to the test, I do not believe all students are standard. Every child is unique and must be recognized for their strengths and challenges. This is the way they can truly LEARN. When I tutor or teach, there is no greater joy than to watch a student experience that "A-HA!" moment! Or for them to learn without even realizing they are! My goal is to inspire and motivate, to help children blossom into well-rounded, responsible, and successful individuals. I actively engage their minds by integrating manipulatives, games, and enjoyable activities. Moreover, I create individualized plans to effectively meet the diverse needs of each child. I look forward to helping your child work to their personal best!
