Besides offering French lessons, I am also TESOL certified (I offer ESL lessons for all levels). I can help with English Language Arts for those advanced to fluent in English, and am especially good at academic writing if you would like help there. Just send me a message! I have had a love for teaching and languages for as long as I remember. I started writing stories at the age of six, and by the time I was eight was fluent in a new language -- a life-changing experience. My exposure to a new culture and language changed how I saw the world by opening my horizons. I could connect with people in a whole new way, and I never forgot it. It's why I want to share this love of language and communication with others. I love to learn almost anything, and I am also an empath, meaning I really get what a student is going through when they learn. Even though I have teaching experience professionally, I find myself teaching anywhere and everywhere people need help understanding something I have learned myself. If I have learned, I want to share my understanding with others so they can feel the same satisfaction. One of the compliments I get about my teaching is that I'm quick to stand in the shoes of a student and adapt how I explain to their perspective. To me, learning difficulties aren't blocks, just challenges to communicate and discover together. I have more than three years' experience teaching in various community programs over the years. I've taught everyone from children to adults. In the six years it took me to get my undergraduate and master's degrees, I also had plenty of time to be on the learning side. A good teacher has to be a learner -- I believe this firmly. I am here to work alongside you. It's you that will do the learning -- I am just here to help where you need it.
