When I think about the best meal ever, I think about being with friends and family, smiling and having a good time together. I've always enjoyed eating but did not start cooking until 1998, my freshmen year in college, and it has been a passion of mine ever since. My passion for cooking has allowed me be express my creativity, learn about other cultures, appreciate the ingredients and how to use them.
I am now 36 years old, born in Thailand but grew up in the United States. I am also a Mother, and a Wife. Although I currently have a great job in corporate America, I still find time to cook for my family just about every day. This allows us to take a moment to sit and be together - a break from homework, projects, papers, and the day to day hustle and bustle.
I cook all kinds of food, but I learned to cook authentic Asian food from my Mom - who is amazing! She inspired me to grow my own vegetable/herb garden. I have to admit it is was a lot of work at first, but nothing compares to being able to go outside to outside to your own backyard and pick some of the freshest /organic ingredients you need for a recipe.
Cooking your favorite dishes can be fun and easy, and I can teach you how. It's easy really - you bring your desire to learn, and I'll bring the ingredients and recipes - and together we will create!
