I am an experienced educator who graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with honors in Music. I have worked with a wide variety of students from my hometown in Marin County, my work with Teach for America in rural Mississippi, and my classroom in Brooklyn. Whatever your needs are, I will help you become a stronger student, test taker, and applicant. I have been teaching music since I was a teenager, and I now have experience in private lessons, music theory, sound engineering, music history, choir, and band. Whether you are looking to learn an instrument, develop music theory skills, or learn to record songs, I can help you build skills to become a confident musician. I am highly skilled at clarinet and saxophone, and I also have experience teaching piano, voice, trombone, trumpet, and flute. I have also studied music theory, music history, sound engineering, world music, and popular music, and I would love to share that knowledge with you.
