Need help acing your audition? Perfecting your acting technique? I’m here to help!

I specialize in audition prep, self tape practice, script analysis, character work, monologue selection & breakdown, and teaching my students basic acting techniques. I tailor each lesson to my students individual needs, and I meet students where they are. Whether you are just starting out in your acting journey, or have extensive previous acting experience, you will leave each lesson with me feeling more confident and having a deeper understanding of acting. Techniques I employ in my acting lessons include the likes of Meisner, Uta Hagen, Stella Adler, Stanislavski, Lee Strasberg, and Michael Chekhov. I cultivate a positive, professional environment where mistakes are celebrated and my students are encouraged to explore their character & themselves with no judgement.

Hello! My name is Niklas, and I’m an actor, singer, dancer, and environmental activist from Detroit, Michigan. I started acting when I was 12 years old, and since then I’ve earned a certificate in Musical Theater from the Stella Adler Conservatory in New York City. I’m currently attending Elon University, working towards my B.F.A. In Acting. I’ve gotten the chance to train with professional actors such as BD Wong (Jurassic Park), Donna Murphy (The King and I, Tangled) and Andrea Burns (In The Heights). Some of my favorite roles I’ve played include Mark in A Chorus Line, Richard in Richard III, and Prince Eric in The Little Mermaid. My goal as a teaching artist is to help actors find their individuality and trust themselves and their instincts. A typical acting class with me will look like a warm up session, technique exercises, and then monologue or scene work depending on what the actor needs. I promote a positive and caring environment where mistakes are celebrated and viewer as growth, and I build my students up rather than break them down. In my free time, I enjoy yoga, playing the guitar, and going for hikes. Thank you for your time, I hope we can work together soon!
