My name is Nikki and I can't wait to meet you! I've been teaching art and fashion classes since 2014. Currently I am a freelance costume designer, and I also teach some sewing classes at Brooklyn Public Schools. I love to help my students hand sew, draw designs, and use a sewing machine to make clothes they can actually wear.
I went to Parsons School of Design and earned a degree in Integrated Fashion and Costume Design in 2013. I also studied Fashion & Accessories Design and Illustration at the University of the Arts London. I'm an enthusiastic and dedicated person and my teaching style is all about being curious, and learning the tools you need in a fun and easy way. I will help you make your skills work for you, to express your unique sense of creativity. I look forward to helping you reach your goals!
