I am a substitute teacher with an undergraduate degree in English and History and a Master’s degree in European History. As a history lover, I believe that all facets of history are interconnected. One can not truly understand the history of the United States without knowledge of Europe. Africa, and Asia. That is why World History is so vital for students. My students will learn to connect the history of religion with economics, as well as that of art with social change. History is so much more than memorizing facts. I am a teacher with a Master’s degree in European History from the University of Rhode Island (2014) and a dual undergraduate degree in History and English from Simmons University (2011). As a student of history, I believe in the interconnection of all facets of our past. History is more than just memorizing facts. It is an investigation into our cultures, religions, economies, etc. to understand how they intersect and affect our present and future.
