Direct Adult Chancel Choir - Traditional style repertoire. The Chancel Choir works on musicality, vocal technique, and basic music theory.

Church of the Good Shepherd

Directed three choirs: Adult Choir - Traditional, Gospel, Jazz Youth Choir (ages 12-17) - Traditional, Contemporary Kids Choir (ages 5-11) - Traditional Hymns, Children's Contemporary Songs All choirs worked on music theory and vocal technique appropriate to their age and educational levels.

Private Studio

I teach private voice lessons from beginners to advanced students, including music theory and sight singing skills. I teach beginning and intermediate piano lessons to all ages.

Naperville Music Academy

I taught beginning through intermediate voice students, concentrating on good technique and some music theory and sight singing. Students sang songs from varying genres. I also taught voice classes for Elementary school aged children, concentrating on ear training skills and learning fun and age appropriate repertoire. I taught both private and small group piano lessons for beginning and intermediate level students. Beginning students concentrated on learning good technique and building level-appropriate repertoire. Intermediate students began to learn theory behind common chord progressions and simple composition techniques.

Oak Forest HS

I taught beginning through intermediate high school level students voice and piano. Voice students studied Bel Canto technique and worked on varying genres while learning sight singing and theory skills. I also prepared their Solo/Ensemble competition pieces and acted as a judge for Solo/Ensemble contests as well as IMEA choral auditions. Piano students studied music theory and played a variety of genres, also studying chord progressions and simple composition.
