Drawing with Nicole L.

Nicole is an artist and educator living and working in Tampa, FL. Upon leaving grad school, her main focus was to create paintings. Recently, she became more and more enchanted with the process of drawing; intrigued by the direct mark-making capabilities this medium had to offer and becoming more aware that drawing is a direct route to visual communication. Her large-scale drawings are a testament to this evolution. She continues to work as an oil painter, and has directed her focus to the slower processes of painting. Nicole's work has been exhibited throughout New England and the Tampa Bay area. Nicole received her MFA degree from the Academy of Art University and her Bachelor's degree from Saint Anselm College.
