    Master the Bass Clarinet: Work with a teacher who's played on Broadway and beyond!

    For discounted studio rates, please see information in my photos. As a beginner I will work with you on instrument assembly and care, acquiring good practice habits, and learning the basics. I am also comfortable working with you to buy or rent an instrument if you do not already own one. If you've been playing for a while I will work with you on assigned ensemble music, audition repertoire, and anything else you'd like!

    Hello, my name is Nicole DeMaio, thanks for checking out my profile! I am a musician who plays flute, clarinet, saxophone, and bassoon. My current and recent jobs include working as a substitute musician on Broadway shows including Aladdin, Some Like It Hot, A Strange Loop, Kimberly Akimbo, and more! I performed for Tiktok's "Ratatouille", and the 2020 National Tour of "An American in Paris". I also work as a composer writing music, and taught middle school general music for several years in Boston. I hold degrees from NJCU (MM Multiple Woodwind Performance), The Boston Conservatory (MM Composition) and MSU (Music Education with K-12 Certification). I love working with students of all ages and skill levels, and strive to create an inclusive teaching environment for all of my students.
