I stick with a very casual lesson plan.  I feel that forcing unwanted material can take away from the joy of playing a musical instrument.  With that being said, there are certain frustrating skills that must be learned to achieve certain musical goals.  Tell me what you want to learn (or I can give you advice and what I think can/should be worked on) and I will aid in getting that accomplished.

For students of beginner or intermediate level!!
I am a student at the University of California, San Diego with a major in environmental engineering and a minor in audio engineering/music production.  I have been playing all genres of guitar, bass, and drums for about 12 years and have been tutoring students for 5 of those years.  I am all about a casual lesson plan because I know that forcing material down a student's throat can take the joy out of playing a musical instrument.  Present me with your musical goals (or I can give my best advice on what to improve next) and I will aid in achieving those goals.

my son was able to learn some scales as little a week and he is a really nice guy and is great with kids I would definitely recommend him to someone.
