My name is Nick S. As a graduate of the University of Michigan Acting Program and co-founder of the Chicago storefront theatre Death & Pretzels, I have real world and training experiences to share with any level of performer from newcomer to veteran. I can't wait to start working with you as a soundboard for your talents!

My name is Nick S. I am a working actor in the Chicago area and co-founder of the storefront theatre company Death & Pretzels. I am a graduate of the University of Michigan Theatre Program where I trained extensively in acting, movement, voice, improv, clowning, production, and various other areas of the industry. I am incredibly outgoing, knowledgeable, and well versed in the realities of the theatrical community. I have dealt with a very broad spectrum of talents and abilities, so if you consider yourself a veteran or a newcomer, I will be able to be a great sounding board for your talents! I look forward to working with you and sharing my experiences!

I acted with Nick in a play last year and had a wonderful experience. He is an incredibly warm, encouraging person who immediately puts everybody at ease. He is also a very talented actor - I have seen him take on a wide range of roles and he brings truth to every character he plays. Nick was also gracious enough to help me when I started my own theatre company, and his insights and advice were invaluable. Although I haven't had the opportunity to work with him as a director or coach yet, the next time I need help with monologues or a tricky role he will be the first person I call.

Nick is a great actor with a ton of professional experience- watching him work on stage is a joy, and often a master class is comedic timing. Nick is hard working, thorough and dedicated to his craft, any student would be lucky to work with him and would benefit greatly from his knowledge of acting in both educational and professional settings. Nick is kind, compassionate and a great teacher, he's happy to go above and beyond to help his students succeed.
