About Nick P.

Bringing a wide range of experience in Writing, English, Communication, Language, and Business, I help to make lasting adjustments that improve writing, communication, and overall efficiency over the long term. My practice started out and continues to function as an academic tutoring practice for students of all levels. From elementary, grade school, high school, all the way to undergraduate and advanced degree candidates. As I continued to both operate my practice and work professionally in the Language Service Provider (LSP) Industry, my practice expanded to professionals looking to gain more value out of their content, writing, communication, and use of language overall. Please take a look at the different areas I can help, read through my background/experience, and reach out to start a conversation. Background: I have been tutoring in writing since I was in high school. While attaining my BA in English, I became a Writing Consultant at St. John's University where I worked with hundreds of students during every stage in the writing process. From brainstorming topics to write about, all the way down to making sure references have been correctly annotated, I covered every aspect of writing. I began working in the LSP industry in 2015 and experienced all facets of the Language business. From the operations side to the business side, I worked directly with content creators, marketers, editors, quality managers, translators, and business leaders on examining their language and making it as effective as possible. The knowledge and experience I gained from this industry through 2020 helped the development of my own practice . In 2017 I formalized my practice and began working with professionals as well as students, focusing on overall communication and efficiency in addition to writing. I genuinely want to and enjoy helping you become better and accomplish what you need to. I am excited to help out and hope to hear from you soon!

Daughter, a junior, has a paper due and needing editing help. Nick gave her clear, written, formatting and structure suggestions that she'd be able work on. She was really glad of the points discussed that she hadn't thought about and how to make the paper flow better. She's already looking forward to completing and reviewing the final version with Nick. Will def. Hire again and recommend.
