I'm Nick Lantigua, a Musician and composer based in NYC. I am a music teacher of 3 years, available to students of all experience levels and ages. I like to arrange my lessons so that students learn what they want to learn (at their own pace), while also gaining strong theoretical and technical music skills. I studied at The New School for Jazz and Contemporary music and studied with Band leaders such as Gregoir Maret, Samir Chatterjee, and Adam Holzman; Jazz Guitarists Ed Maceachen and Richard Boukas and have taken lessons with banjoists Ryan Cavanaugh and Bennett Sullivan of Steve Martin’s musical “Bright Star”. I also have several years of experience playing along several venues in NYC with the likes of Robert Brashear and The Home Away Band, Luba Dvorak, Craig Donovan and Greg Cornell and the Cornell Brothers, as well as solo artist.
