--- Nichole Peyreigne began her musical journey at the age of six with the piano. Shortly thereafter she began studying viola and violin privately under the tutelage of Romanian violinist Lucian Lazar. She competed and placed in major regional competitions during her high school years. At the age of sixteen, she began studying classical voice with Jennifer Foster of Westport, CT. Shortly thereafter she was accepted to the Manhattan School of Music preparatory division under the instruction of Joan Caplan. The following year, she continued her undergraduate studies there until May of 2010 when she transferred to SUNY Purchase to study with renowned operatic soprano Sherry Overholt. Since 2010, Nichole has been teaching privately in Westchester County, NY. She creates a personalized lesson plan for each student as her studio encompasses students of many instruments/fields of study, ages and levels. Everyone learns differently and Nichole is determined to ensure excellence for each and every student to create an enjoyable learning experience. She is looking forward to expanding her Westchester County studio as well as gaining momentum as a private online-teacher. ---
