Drums with Nicholas M.

I am a professional drummer and percussionist. Currently playing with Meadow Brook Theatre's musical productions, in a four piece hard rock band- Rezination, and with the Adrian and Rochester Symphonies. I graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelors of Music Education. My students can expect to improve every week in their drumming technique and musicality. Every drummer has a unique voice; I teach students foundational techniques in order to unlock their own individual sound. I encourage students to drum with freedom, confidence, and expression. I teach students of all different ages and experience levels. Students can learn to play contemporary music by ear, by using lead sheets, and how to read music and pursue classical excellence. I also teach rudimental snare drum, marching tenors (quads), four mallet marimba, timpani, and hand drums. I look forward to meeting you and helping you to become a better musician!
