When I went to takelessons for help with choosing the right instructor, i was led to Nicholas. The referring choice maker told me Nicholas would be using Adobe Premier. He did not. I dont think it was Nicholas fault, I think the takelesson person made an unintentional selection or did not communicate with Nicholas that I did not want to take Adobe Photoshop, but wanted Adobe Premier. This is the second time this has happened. It makes learning very difficult and I dont think it is the instructors fault. Not sure what to do. This is the second time this has happened.
+ Read MoreWe did not feel that this was a good match for our daughter. I have taken voice lessons before and have 10 years background in music. We did not appreciate the teaching style and quality of lessons. We decided not to pursue this or any further service with Take Lessons due to their lack in transparency of their business policies.
+ Read MoreI used Aperture for years to adjust my photos, but when Apple stopped supporting it, I subscribed to Adobe Photoshop Lightroom CC. LR is comparable to Aperture, but neither does a good job of fixing a blown out sky; PS offers several methods of dealing with this problem, none of them particularly simple. PS is a complex, daunting professional tool and I was stymied and discouraged. Nick taught me how to use PS to solve my problem and gave me confidence that I could, with study and practice, learn how to use PS to solve other problems. The important thing is that Nick listened to me as to my goal and directed his teaching to that goal. He showed enormous patience as I interrupted him with questions every 20 seconds. To sum up: it's unrealistic to try to learn PS in three hours. I needed specific knowledge to get over a difficult hurdle, and Nick taught me what I needed to use PS to solve my problem. I believe that I can now go forward to do a much better job adjusting and developing my photos, and that I have a better grasp on how to learn more about PS. Thank you, Nick.

Nicholas is an amazing singer and a great teacher! He is very professional, came before time, and went over time. My daughter and our entire family really liked him. He also teaches a colleague's daughter who spoke highly of Nicholas. All in all, a great experience!
