I am a professional pianist/keyboardist. I graduated from Brown University with a degree in Music. I grew up in New York and Los Angeles. I've worked extensively as an accompanist, booking regular jobs at the Tony-winning Trinity Repertory Company, Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts, Rockwell Table and Stage, as well as solo cabaret shows for such actors as Marilu Henner (Taxi, Chicago on Broadway). I have also done work for a number of LA's top wedding band agencies, such as West Coast Music and Downbeat LA. I perform both as a keyboardist for the main reception, where I play pop synthesizer, and am often al the pianist for the cocktail reception or ceremony. It is the breadth and variety of my experience that makes me a good piano teacher. I am proficient in a just about every genre of music, having had to play it at some point or another. I approach music the way a professional musician has to: efficiently. Learning to play piano does not mean making music more complicated, it means making it simpler.
