As both a school teacher and a private instructor, I have had the opportunity to tailor my knowledge of different teaching methods based on my student’s needs. My extensive background in music theory sets a good foundation for students to successfully begin understanding and connecting musical concepts. Very often, my versatile teaching and performing experience of different genres helps me easily adjust to students’ interests and learning pace. I usually rely on combining methods such as Faber Piano Adventures, Color Method, Alfred's Piano Method, and Suzuki Method. These methods are just some of the means in the process of accomplishing students’ goals. I am looking forward to playing and enjoying music with you! In the last 17 years, I have been working as a private music instructor in Europe and in the US teaching students from the age of 2 up to 65. Also, I have 23 years of experience in performing various musical genres and instruments (piano, double bass, accordion, percussion) in numerous ensembles. Aside from my extensive training in piano performance, I graduated musicology and double bass performance from the University of Miami and the University of Arts in Belgrade.
