Music is a movement, an emotion, an ingenious thought, and an extraordinary way of communication! And all those little details that it possess have been lightened in many different ways by the students I taught - that is what inspires me the most in a teaching process.
I also encourage my students to analyze and talk about the piece they play, or discuss anything they are interested in music in general. Along with that, music theory and ear training lessons can improve your musical performance and knowledge about music.
I am looking forward to enjoying playing and learning music together with you!
About Nevena K.
In the last 16 years, I have been working as a private music instructor in Europe and in the US. I have 23 years of rich experience not only in teaching, but also in playing and performing various musical genres and instruments (piano, double bass, accordion, percussion) in numerous ensembles.
In the last three years, I have been teaching music and piano to children and adults in Miami. Prior to this, I served as a teaching assistant at the University of Miami and was teaching music theory classes in a renowned music high school in Serbia. My music theory students have had many accomplishments as well.
I graduated both musicology and double bass performance from the University of Miami and the University of Belgrade. In the past 16 years, I have had an extensive training in piano performance and experience in teaching this instrument.

Great and inspiring teacher! I've learned so much in little time, would recommend .
We would like to express our gratitude for all your kindness and time spent with our daughter. She made her first music steps with you and now she can get rid of the piano.
She enjoyed working with you while your teaching methods help her be able to play complex songs.
We recommend teacher Nevena without reservation to everyone who would passionately like to dive into music.
