Vocal Training with Neil M.

I am a professional Voice and Piano teacher with a Bachelors Degree from Westminster Choir College. I have extensive performance experience as an opera and musical theatre singer, including sing operatic roles and scenes with the Westminster Voice Department. During my time at Westminster, I took courses in voice science that helped me understand how the voice works and how to teach singers. I would also work with undergraduates as vocal coach, working on style, diction, musicality, and acting. My in depth understanding of the vocal mechanism gives me insight on how to teach healthy singing that can be applied to many different styles. When students take lessons with me, we will work on technique and repertoire that is age and level appropriate. It is important that the student enjoys the lesson and is working on repertoire that they love.
