I'm a well-trained, versatile guitarist with a comprehensive grasp of music theory and guitar technique. I can teach a wide range of skill levels on guitar - from the intermediate player trying to get better at playing open chords and simple melodies in-time to the more experienced player looking to learn how to use inverted quartal chord voicings, understand general chord construction, voice-lead chords melodically through songs, play altered single note lines uptempo over V chords, create floating atmospheric harmonies using volume swells, etc. I can make concepts intuitive so that students can make creative use out of them right away. My main goal is to help students foster their own musicality by imparting my love for this instrument and its place in music-making as a whole.
