    Experience

    Substitute Teacher

    May, 2017 - Present

    Nelly Berman School of Music

When the brass instructor at Nelly Berman is unavailable, I get called to come a teach his students for a day. These students range from 5th grade to 9th grade, each with a different skill level and their own strengths and weaknesses. I instruct them on the aspects that need help and report it to the brass instructor.

    Teaching Assistant

    Aug, 2016 - May, 2017

    University of Delaware

While completing my masters degree, I was given a great opportunity to teach future music educators how to play and teach the trombone to beginners (most of them being beginners themselves) and instruct some private students of my own. In addition, I was the trombone librarian and co-conductor of the UD Trombone Choir.

    Freelance Trombonist

    May, 2014 - Present

    Self Employed

During my time as a freelancer, I performed with many different groups including the University of Pennsylvania Chamber and Symphony Orchestra, Altoona Symphony Orchestra, Atlantic Brass Band, and Patriot Brass Ensemble. I have also performed for Joseph Alessi, Principal Trombonist of the New York Philharmonic, Deborah Hanson, Electric Jazz Harpist, and many other composers and conductors including Dr. Jack Stamp, Johan De-Meij, Robert Litton and Daniel French, with others not included on this list.
