I have over 15 years of playing and songwriting experience, and have over 10 years of recording, performing, and teaching experience. Introducing people to new techniques and musical ideas is always rewarding because it reminds me of the magic I have felt when learning a new way to further my musical ability. I have written, recorded and performed original material as well as cover songs both in various groups and by myself on multiple instruments. I have often been the first person people would call when they needed a short notice fill-in musician to perform with their group, both for short term and long term. *** Lesson Details *** I will work together with the student to find a lesson that suits his or her goals. If the student is ever unsure of where to go next, I will provide lessons that will help them refine what they already know, or introduce them to new techniques they will benefit from. *** Studio Equipment *** Mesa Mark V,  Mesa .22, Crate Blue Voodoo, ESP Eclipse, PRS Mikael Akerfeldt signature, extra cables and picks, old style metronome just for fun (and timing). *** Travel Equipment *** I can provide a guitar amp, cables, picks, and a tuner. I expect the student to at least own a guitar for practice. *** Specialties *** Rock, Classic Rock, Metal, Punk Rock, chords, scales, harmonies, composition and arrangement.
