Hi! My name is Nathan and I am super excited to be your teacher. A little bit about me, I am a junior at American University studying political science and finance. Throughout my time in DC I have gained a myriad of experience in academic research, politics, and writing skills. I have even interned at some really cool places too, including a congressional campaign and Americans for Financial Reform, a pro regulation lobbying group founded by Elizabeth Warren. Some of my hobbies are rock climbing, stand-up comedy, and mixed martial arts. My entire life has been centered around kids and their education. Both of my parents are educators; my mom a third grade teacher and my dad a high school teacher. I have worked in both classrooms and am even a classified Paraeducator, qualified to work with children with special needs. Once I get enough credits I will be able to apply for a teaching credential and become a substitute teacher! Please feel free to ask me anything about myself.
