My name is Nate. I've been playing the drums for thirty years. I'm trained in marching band, rudiments and classic drum set. I have a BA from Fordham University in NYC. I work as an actor and a drummer in both LA and NYC. Most recently, I co-started in the Oscar nominated film Whiplash and was also the drum instructor for the actors on that film. I'm confident I can create a fun and effective lesson plan for adults and children of all abilities. If you're new to the drums I'll create a curriculum that fits you and your interests while providing you with a solid foundation to build on.
