Levels taught:
Beginner, Intermediate
I've been shooting and editing photos for 10 years using Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom. I own my previously owned my own wedding photography business and can share years of editing experience with you. The beginner's level will introduce you to the Photoshop interface, how to work on a photo in Adobe Camera Raw, and an introduction to the tools available to manipulate your image. The intermediate level will teach you how to start digging deeper into an image with layers, masks, clone stamps, and detailed edits.

About Nathan H.

Hey! Thanks for checking out my teacher profile page!

I'm really excited to share my knowledge of all things film, editing, illustration, video production and photography with you.

I'm a Digital Marketing Director that works for the YMCA of the Greater Twin Cities.

I previously worked on Oscar-nominated films, TV commercials, shorts films, reality TV, documentaries and more. I also used to shoot weddings and event photography. Essentially, I eat, sleep, and breath the creative world!

I was trained as a film and television actor at The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts in New York City, and also got my B.F.A at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio for Motion Picture Production.

I have an incredible knack for teaching anybody how to pick up post-production software from Photoshop and Lightroom to Premiere Pro and After Effects. I can help you learn how to rig animated characters, how to record audio for a podcast, and so much more!

I can simplify things for you by cutting out the confusing stuff. Learning should be fun, and I enjoy taking the guess-work out of education. I get tired of the textbook ways of learning. I like to make things experiential, and hands-on. So let's learn together, and have fun while we do it.

I'm excited to meet you--please contact Takelessons today for more information!

Adobe Creative Suite · Online

When I started classes, I wasn't even sure what i was going to learn, and if it was going to work online, but Nathan found the way to direct what i wanted to do in a very fun and interactive way. I never want to leave our online classes, and now i'm doing a video by myself with all the tools I've learn in only 4 classes... I'm really excited to keep learning more skills to use on my projects and work!
