YMCA of the Greater Twin Cities

I currently oversee all Digital Marketing and Platforms for the YMCA of the Greater Twin Cities, the third-largest YMCA in the United States. My role is to enhance the digital customer experience online and in the branches. I work in Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator and more to pitch new ideas, create prototypes and develop new creative content for social media, email marketing, presentations, national conferences, and more.

YMCA of Greater Dayton

I was the Director of Marketing and Communications for the YMCA of Greater Dayton where I oversaw the implementation of all creative aspects of YMCA creative for 12 YMCA branches, 48 child care sites, and one resident Camp (YMCA Camp Kern). I worked with Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop to create print and digital marketing.

A promotional video for a new app being released September 2015. I was in charge of the video's entire edit from beginning to end, utilizing Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 and After Effects CS6. I ingested, labeled, and organized the footage into selects--creating a streamlined workflow within the programs. I created a strong final cut that was used to promote the app to investors and advertisers.

Location Assistant for the Todd Haynes film CAROL, starring Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara. I worked alongside an amazing team of Location Scouts, searching for 1950s era departments stores, streets, and apartments. Locking down the facilities, negotiating contracts, and filing the paperwork needed to prepare a location for shooting.

Worked with the second camera unit gathering B-roll, time-lapse photography, and general pick-ups for the TLC show "Women of Homicide."

Freelance

Writer, director, and editor of the short film, "Twin Falls." Responsible for finessing screenplay, setting up auditions, casting actors, fundraising, location scouting, as well as working closely with the Director of Photography with storyboards. Postproduction duties include editing, sound mixing, festival entry and distribution.
