Classical Piano with Natasha T.

Hi! My name is Natasha and I have been teaching piano to beginner students of all ages for over 10 years. I recently finished a residency with Utah Opera as their resident artist pianist and am now residing in Boston. Before that, I finished my masters degree at UT Austin in Opera Coaching after gaining my masters at the Peabody Conservatory in Vocal Accompanying/Collaborative Piano as well as being an Opera Accompanying Graduate Assistant at the conservatory. I received my Bachelor of Music in solo piano performance from Binghamton University. I am currently teaching both virtually and in person out of my home in Brighton. I am also open to teaching in person in Wellesley or Newton on some evenings as well as some weekend mornings. Zoom is a great option for lessons and most of my students love the flexibility of having virtual lessons as well as in person. I teach piano to beginner students of all ages and have a variety of adult and younger students. I tailor each lesson to each individual student and can teach a variety of genres, from classical to a pop song you'd like to learn! As a collaborative pianist I work with vocalists every day and can also teach accompanying skills as well as developing an ear for music. I strongly believe in building foundation in technique and theory and becoming a well rounded musician-even at the beginner's level. My teaching style is very relaxed and fun and I always like to get the best potential out of my students!
