Master the classical piano from a piano teacher with 10+ years of teaching experience

Hi! My name is Natasha and I have been teaching piano to beginner students of all ages for over 10 years. I recently finished a residency with Utah Opera as their resident artist pianist and am now residing in Boston. Before that, I finished my masters degree at UT Austin in Opera Coaching after gaining my masters at the Peabody Conservatory in Vocal Accompanying/Collaborative Piano as well as being an Opera Accompanying Graduate Assistant at the conservatory. I received my Bachelor of Music in solo piano performance from Binghamton University. I am currently teaching both virtually and in person out of my home in Brighton. I am also open to teaching in person in Wellesley or Newton on some evenings as well as some weekend mornings. Zoom is a great option for lessons and most of my students love the flexibility of having virtual lessons as well as in person. I teach piano to beginner students of all ages and have a variety of adult and younger students. I tailor each lesson to each individual student and can teach a variety of genres, from classical to a pop song you'd like to learn! As a collaborative pianist I work with vocalists every day and can also teach accompanying skills as well as developing an ear for music. I strongly believe in building foundation in technique and theory and becoming a well rounded musician-even at the beginner's level. My teaching style is very relaxed and fun and I always like to get the best potential out of my students! Looking forward to sharing my love of music and piano with you and please feel free to message me with any questions.

Natasha is a very professional, well-mannered and flexible instructor who strives to help her students succeed musically. In her lessons, she utilizes time well and ensures that her students are gaining value from said lessons via comprehension checks, tips, feedback, etc. I’ve never left one of her lessons feeling lost or discouraged. Before taking lessons with Natasha, I felt somewhat skeptical about online piano learning. However, after taking several, I feel much more confident not only about online learning, but also with my piano repertoire; I look forward to continued improvement and growth with Natasha. I highly recommend this instructor.

Natasha is a wonderful teacher and I highly recommend her to anyone considering piano lessons. In addition to her advanced capabilities and wealth of knowledge, Natasha is amiable and highly perceptive. She sees exactly where I'm at and precisely what I need in order to grow. As an adult learner who aspires to develop a strong foundation in which to improve upon, I find Natasha's instrucion to be invaluable.
