Currently pursuing my second masters degree in opera coaching at UT Austin. Received my first masters degree at the Peabody Conservatory, majoring in Vocal Accompanying with a Bachelor's of Music in classical Piano Performance. Experienced teacher of 8 years, specializing in beginner/intermediate level. All ages are welcome! I will specialize each lesson to each student's needs and will build a strong foundation of note reading, theory and sight-reading! I have access to studios at UT Austin and am usually very flexible with my time. With Covid I am currently offering virtual lessons, hopefully picking up in person in 2021. Let's get started!
About Natasha T.

Hi! My name is Natasha and I have been teaching piano to beginner students of all ages for 8 years. I am currently at Utah Opera as their resident artist pianist. I will be leaving Salt Lake City in May but would love to teach you in person or virtually until I leave. (Virtually is a great option if you would like to continue working with me after I change locations) Before this, I finished my second masters degree at UT Austin in Opera Coaching and just finished my first masters at the Peabody Conservatory pursuing a degree in Vocal Accompanying/Collaborative Piano as well as being an Opera Accompanying Graduate Assistant at the conservatory. I received my Bachelor of Music in solo piano performance from Binghamton University. I teach piano to beginner students of all ages! I will tailor each lesson to each individual student and can teach a variety of genres, from classical to a pop song you'd like to learn! As a collaborative pianist I work with vocalists every day and can also teach accompanying skills. I strongly believe in building foundation in technique and theory and becoming a well rounded musician-even at the beginner's level. My teaching style is very relaxed and fun and I always like to get the best potential out of my students! Looking forward to sharing my love of music and piano with you!

Natasha is a great teacher for all ages! I’m a beginner and I’ve already learned so much. Her learning style is the perfect balance between fun and difficult!

I’ve spent a lot of my life struggling through basic piano, and I had no idea why it was so challenging for me! In my very first lesson with Natasha, she helped me overcome obstacles I was completely unaware of. She is a skilled musician with a natural instinct for teaching. She is patient, kind, and extremely thorough.

Natasha was a wonderful piano teacher for my daughter! She was always thoughtful and came up with useful practice techniques that helped her improve very quickly. I highly recommend her to anyone!
