About Natasha T.

Hi! My name is Natasha and I have been teaching piano to beginner students of all ages for 8 years. and I am currently pursuing my second masters degree at UT Austin in Opera Coaching and just finished my first masters at the Peabody Conservatory pursuing a degree in Vocal Accompanying/Collaborative Piano as well as being an Opera Accompanying Graduate Assistant at the conservatory. I received my Bachelor of Music in solo piano performance from Binghamton University.

I teach piano to beginner students of all ages! I will tailor each lesson to each individual student and can teach a variety of genres, from classical to a pop song you'd like to learn! As a collaborative pianist I work with vocalists every day and can also teach accompanying skills.

I strongly believe in building foundation in technique and theory and becoming a well rounded musician-even at the beginner's level. My teaching style is very relaxed and fun and I always like to get the best potential out of my students! Looking forward to sharing my love of music and piano with you!

Natasha is a wonderful piano teacher to my son. I love how much she wants my son to grow within each lesson. She focuses on scales for his technique and is very organized in terms of setting goals for each piece my son has for the week. Highly recommend her for any level of piano, especially for beginners!

Natasha is a wonderful teacher and honestly the best instructor I have ever had. I have bounced around quite a bit to different teachers and dealt with some wrist pain at various points, she was by far the most patient and caring of any of them. She is knowledgeable and understands how to teach proper, healthy technique. She actually wanted me to improve as a student and will do whatever it takes to help her students achieve their goals. I highly recommend Natasha as a piano teacher!

Natasha is a great piano teacher!

I've been going for a few weeks now and I feel like I have already picked up a ton that I could not have learned on my own. She pays a lot of attention to my form to make sure I am not picking up any bad habits, which is exactly what I was looking for in an instructor.

Lessons are always super clear and encouraging. I never feel like things are going too slowly OR too fast.

Highly recommended!

Natasha is such a wonderful piano teacher. She taught our daughter privately over the summer and is very thorough in each lesson. She focuses both on technique and musical things from the very beginning. She’s also very open to letting parents sit in on lessons, it’s quite helpful when having to help my daughter through some of her practicing. Highly recommend her as a teacher!

Natasha was so accommodating with our schedule- with four kids, I was very appreciative. She was AMAZING with my six year old daughter, and I loved being included in her lesson, so I can make sure my daughter is practicing correctly. I highly recommend Natasha, and I'm thrilled to have found such a hands on teacher. She's fantastic.

Natasha is my accompanist at Peabody and she does a wonderful job! She makes great artistic choices, she’s always prepared, and she is very flexible with my own musical interpretations of pieces.

Natasha taught our son piano. We knew her as the daughter of our neighbor so, she was more of a friend than just a teacher.
Our son enjoyed his time with her. She was patient and well educated in her subjects

Natasha is a colleague of mine, and I'd strongly recommend her as a teacher! She really takes the time to get to know anyone she works with and can easily adapt to their needs and particular style of learning. Her personality is very friendly and approachable, perfect for encouraging students, while still holding them to a high standard of musicianship.

I've been lucky enough to collaborate with Natasha on several occasions, including opera and art song performance. She is a hard-working, musical talent that truly knows what it means to perform with others as an empathic team. She is patient, knowledgeable, and incredibly kind, the wonderful combination when teaching.
