About me I'm a classical violinist with degrees in Music and Anthropology from Butler University. I've been playing and performing since 1996 and have been teaching since 2006. I am currently pursing a Master's in Education at North Park University. Teaching style I studied Suzuki violin until 2005 and then switched to a more traditional learning style. I am well versed in both Suzuki philosophy and repertoire as well as that of traditional teaching. I form my lessons around the need of my student. A basic lesson will include scales, etudes, and a full length piece. At times, worksheets or other assignments may be given to help create a cohesive learning environment. My main focus of a lesson will always be to ensure that my student is learning and enjoying their time with music.
