I taught myself embroidery at a fairly young age and gradually built up my skills by gifting embroidery pieces to my friends. I have been selling original designs on my Etsy since 2016 while also taking custom commissions. I’ve helped dozens of friends get started on their own embroidery journeys and have received lots of positive feedback about my instruction as what helped them with the tricky parts they just couldn’t get from videos and books. My own embroidery is largely inspired by classical sculpture, botanic illustration and jewel tones. Fiber arts is my absolute favorite medium because it makes the body and mind slow down and the depth and texture that can be achieved are so satisfying and unique.
