Take your illustration to the next level! I can help teach the fundamentals or expand on what you already know.

I have experience in both traditional (pen, pencil, charcoal, and markers) and digital art (raster and vector). As for styles, I personally believe starting drawing you should focus on the style you like best while a mix of life drawing. I have experience with formal educational art and the anime/manga drawing styles. 

I am a big fan of art art nouveau illustration and as a BFA graphic design graduate I can help with incorporating typography as well.

If you would like to learn digital drawing it would help to have a mouse or a drawing tablet hooked to your computer.

I am a professional graphic designer, doing mostly freelance work. I graduated from Schreiner University with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Graphic Design. I have experience teaching art to middle school/high school students as an art substitute teacher. 

One of my favorite parts of design is interactivity, meaning creating clickable pdfs or working on webpages.  Most of my focus while in school was with print media but my interest in interactivity has lead me to continue learning even after graduation.

I had never even heard of TakeLessons; I was just looking for someone to teach me WordPress, which at the time seemed overwhelming.  And I was not looking to spend nearly $1,000 for a weekend workshop. I was really fortunate. Natalie is a really great instructor! After a few lessons with her, Wordpress seemed much more intuitive. It was as though she had just removed the *overwhelmingness* factor for me. Now I move through the program with relative ease. It was money well spent. Thanks so much, Natalie!
