    About Natalie P.

I'm a clarinetist (Bb and bass), teacher, performer, and aspiring conductor in the DMV area. I graduated from Catholic University with a Bachelors in Music Performance - Woodwinds, and have a strong theoretical and practical foundation in music education from my time at CUA. My formal training in education as well as performance allows me to pull from multiple sources in order to make lessons fun and productive for both teacher and student. Currently, I'm perform solo and with chamber ensembles around the DMV area. I also serve as a music director for multiple music ministry groups around the District. I have professional experience in composing and arranging, and love to work with new composers to premiere contemporary classical works. Some of my favorite performances include playing in the pit orchestra for Center Stage Theater Company's Addams Family, performing with a wind quintet at the Canadian Embassy, and a solo performance at the St. John Paul II National Shrine. I teach at your location, in the studios at Catholic University, or over Skype. I work with students with a variety of goals, ages, and skill levels, primarily looking to study classical style music.
