Classical Piano with Natalie B.

I'm a piano, voice, and songwriting teacher with over 10 years experience in teaching, playing, singing, and musical directing! I teach classical, rock, broadway, pop, and improvisational piano. I teach voice for musical theatre as well. I’m always able to get my students to a higher level quickly, while making sure they have fun and make their own discoveries about the music they’re approaching along the way. I’ve been the musical director of a youth theatre program for 10 years, and a piano and voice teacher at a music studio in LA for around 2 years as well. I love to inspire the artist within every student, and to make them believe they can play anything. I often try to sneak more musical knowledge into a lesson than what is typically presented at their level, since I believe everyone can musically accomplish a whole lot more than what they might think they’re capable of at first. I love to help people understand their own unique musical inspiration, and to help them be drawn to what they really love about music. I help people understand where the music they love came from, how things could be changed or innovated, and how easy it is to practice a lot when you’re playing something you like. I find ways to dig deeper into people’s musical passions and help them play what they truly love!
