    About Natalie B.

    One of the most prominent and multifaceted Czech pianists of her generation, Natalie is known as a soloist, chamber musician, educator and recording artist. Formerly, a professor of collaborative piano at the Prague Conservatoire (2005- 2010), she actively toured and performed as a soloist and member of a chamber – Duo / violin and piano with well-known Czech violinist Josef Špaček. As a soloist, Natalie has appeared with the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra and the Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra of South Bohemia. A regular at music festivals, she has performed at the Audaces Fortuna Invat music festival (Mikulov, 2008), Talichův Beroun 2007. In 2010, Natalie graduated from the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, where she studied with renowned pianist Peter Toperczer. Upon graduation, she was awarded the Yamaha scholarship (Yamaha music foundation of Europe), which is periodically given to the most outstanding pianists. In addition, she has taken master classes with such distinguished artists as Noel Flores, Jeno Jando, Alexander Jenner, Eugen Indjić. Her live performances have been broadcast on Czech Radio and ORF-Radio. Miss Marfynets featured in solo performances in some of the most important musical venues of Europe, including Paris, Lyon, Vienna, Dresden, Berlin, and more. From 2011-2014, Natalie undertook a double major in Solo and Collaborative Piano at Mannes College, New York NY with Prof. Pavlina Dokovska and Prof. Christina Stanescu. She currently works as an accompanist at Mannes College and the Kaufman Music Center.
