Natalia is an excellent musician and a talented instructor but more importantly, she's passionate and understanding. Exactly the person you'd want to work with when learning a challenging new skill!

Natalia makes sure to ground her students in the basics. It's not enough to just play the notes; you have to know their names and how they fit together into scales and chords. She's also endlessly patient and is always willing to make adjustments if some aspect of lessons isn't working for a particular student.

I took piano lessons with Natalia for about a year until a schedule change required me to switch to another instructor. Natalia is a compassionate, encouraging music teacher. I decided to take up the piano after many years away from music, and I couldn't have been more delighted with Natalia's encouragement and guidance in that process. Even more, at the end of every lesson, she asked whether there was anything that she could be doing better. That openness to hear questions, criticism, or constructive feedback, is really the hallmark of a good teacher. I feel very fortunate to have stumbled across her, was sad when we had to part ways, and would highly recommend her to anyone who wants to learn an instrument.

Natalia has been giving my 12 year old son some summer viola lessons, and I could not be more pleased. She is very thoughtful about accommodating learning styles and making things interesting, and has been able to help him maintain focus through a full hour's lesson, which other tutors have not managed. I have appreciated getting a recap of what was covered so I can support between-lesson practice. Natalia is very committed to the individualized approach -- if you or your child need a different approach in order to learn well, Natalia will listen to you if you know what you need, or figure it out if you don't.

Natalia is a great teacher. I would recommend her to anyone who's trying to learn the violin. She knows how to personalize your lesson due to your age so that you can reach your goal when it needs to be reached. At the end of the lesson she asks if there was anything she could do better which I find really refreshing, and I always reply that the lesson was great because, to me that's the truth.

Tonight is my third lesson and I am very happy so far. I would not have thought of the practice techniques she showed me. Already on my way to being able to play with both hands thanks to Natalia.
Good teacher, comfortable learning environment
Can't wait till I learn more.
