Natalia is an excellent musician and a talented instructor but more importantly, she's passionate and understanding. Exactly the person you'd want to work with when learning a challenging new skill!

Natalia makes sure to ground her students in the basics. It's not enough to just play the notes; you have to know their names and how they fit together into scales and chords. She's also endlessly patient and is always willing to make adjustments if some aspect of lessons isn't working for a particular student.

I took piano lessons with Natalia for about a year until a schedule change required me to switch to another instructor. Natalia is a compassionate, encouraging music teacher. I decided to take up the piano after many years away from music, and I couldn't have been more delighted with Natalia's encouragement and guidance in that process. Even more, at the end of every lesson, she asked whether there was anything that she could be doing better. That openness to hear questions, criticism, or constructive feedback, is really the hallmark of a good teacher. I feel very fortunate to have stumbled across her, was sad when we had to part ways, and would highly recommend her to anyone who wants to learn an instrument.
