HOLA everyone, my name is Natalia, I was born in San Juan Puerto Rico and raised between U.S.A. and my beautiful Caribbean Island. I have lived in Spain for 3 years working as a school teacher there, I traveled a lot around Europe, South and Central America and now I'm living in New York. I graduated from University of Puerto Rico where I specialized in Performing Arts and Languages. I have been teaching Spanish, English and Arts for more than 5 years now. Most people I've taught first came to me saying "Spanish is so hard , I will never be able to speak it" or "When I try to speak Spanish, people don't understand me" THIS WILL NOT HAPPEN WITH ME Spanish is easy, you just need a good teacher who cares about YOU and adapts the lessons to YOUR NEEDS: I do! FAQ: ----> How may hours do I need per week ? ** Depending on how fast you want to learn I recommend to start with 1 hour per week for a month to see if you like it and if you are motivated I think 4 hours per week ( 2 hours twice a week ) are ideal. ----> Will I have homework ? ** Yes , your homework will depend on your motivation. I never give too much and it's always related to what we are working on. ----> What do you give your students to help them become fluent in 1 year? ** If you want to commit to 1 year of intensive Spanish , I will give you movies to watch in Spanish, radio shows to listen to , songs to learn , poems to learn , books to read ( adapting to your level ) , I will only speak to you in Spanish during the lesson ( of course if you don't understand I will translate).
