I started my career in the health/wellness field as a personal trainer for over 10 years while obtaining my Bachelor's degree of Science emphasizing Kinesiology from TWU. I was drawn to the therapeutic aspects of personal training and started working in Rehabilitation. In 2007, I started doing yoga after a back injury and was introduced to yoga therapy and thus the passion for yoga began. I tried many styles of yoga and enjoyed them but I still felt like they were missing something until I tried Svaroopa® yoga in 2012. A month after my class I was on my way to studying to become a certified teacher.
