Playing the piano and loving music has been at the center of my life. Aside from the happiness and fun it can bring, learning an instrument also teaches discipline and confidence which carry over into everything. I enjoy teaching both children and adults. As I teacher I am patient and encouraging. Lessons should be interesting and fun but also focused on my teaching you the foundations of playing and practicing. While my background is primarily in classical music, I really enjoy exposing my students to all types of music as they learn the piano. I play the piano, harp and harpsichord and have performed in everything from solo recitals throughout the United States, music festivals and freelance work with the New York Philharmonic to musicals on broadway.
