Overview

I am a current doctoral student at College-Conservatory of Music in bassoon performance. I have been playing the bassoon and the piano for over ten years. Music has always been one of my main interests and passions in my life. I had a lot of performance and teaching experience. I participated in all kinds of competitions, music summer camps, and music festivals that include the National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra summer camp, the Osaka Bassoon Festival, and the Asian Double Reed Association. I have taught the college and high school students. I always enjoy teaching people about music through performance and conversation. As a native Chinese speaker from Taiwan, I can also teach Chinese. If you want to learn how to play the bassoon and piano or Chinese, I am always willing to help you!

I only had a few lessons with Nan-Yu, but she helped me greatly improve. She wasn't just focused on me completing the piece, but on the musicality of what I was playing. I feel like my tone greatly improved and my consciousness of what I was playing.
