My current teaching includes music performance (piano and flute), Italian language and Alexander Technique. I have spent many years honing my skills in all of these subjects and I delight in sharing my knowledge with you and helping you to improve and reach your goals. My teaching style is patient, friendly, helpful and individualized to your needs, interests, goals and learning style.
***PLEASE NOTE: Due to my travel schedule, I can only offer once monthly in-person lessons. Online lessons are available on a weekly basis. In-person lessons once a month are ideal for those with busy schedules. Feel free to use the ask-a-question feature to learn more about which lesson type and frequency may be right for you!
Also, my availability throughout the week is always shifting. If you don't see the time/day you're looking for, I can probably accomodate it. Please send me a message and/or sign up for lessons and we can work out a time.
For more information about my experience and teaching in each subject, please click on the subject you are interested in to read more.
I also enjoy writing blog articles for TakeLessons as another way of sharing information. I have written articles in all of the subjects I teach. Here is a list, by category.

Nadia is a fine instructor. Take it from me who's been coached in many sports - tennis, skiing , riding, swimming. AM is a sport, too, in that the student has to do most of the work. Nadia tells us what to do to improve, but it's up to us to practice.+ Read More
In just one lesson, my daughter learned so much and gained the confidence to work through a difficult piece of music!
First lesson in, and I already feel like the goals for myself are more than attainable under the tutelage of Nadia. I learned so much in my first thirty minutes. I can't wait to go back.
Today I had my first flute lesson with Nadia after not having played for over 30 years! It was truly the best experience that I could hope for. Nadia is knowledgeable, patient, kind and very encouraging. I can't wait for my next lesson!
My 6 year old's first music lesson ever, WITHOUT a piano, was a huge hit! Nadia filled the time going through a piano book and walking through the keyboard as well as how to read the notes, and hand placement. Nadia is kind, patient, and engaging. We are thrilled we found her and looking forward to our next lesson!+ Read More

A great teacher, extremely knowledgeable with the ability to help students grasp new concepts.
Ive had a couple of Alexander instructors and Nadia by far is the best. She explains things in a way that makes sense and I'm seeing progress. She is wonderful!
Nadia is a really warm, engaging teacher. Perfect for my 2 beginners (age 7 and age 5). They were adamantly against taking piano lessons before I signed them up with Nadia, but now they are eagerly practicing at the piano and studying their lessons. What a gem!+ Read More

Nadia is an Amazing, Talented, Effective and Kind Teacher........
NADIA is an Amazing teacher! I am a professional Musician (Opera Singer), and always dreamed of playing the Flute. With Nadia's skill as a wonderful flutist and her knowledge of Alexander Technique mixed in with her teaching of the Flute, I have very quickly developed a comfortable and proper position while playing. As a beginner in Flute, I must say that she has truly helped me begin to make some great sounds, sight-read easily, develop Good playing-Habits, and enjoy playing and caring for my Flute. It is RARE to find a Great Teacher who is both "effective" and "kind". I Highly recommend Nadia to ALL those who Love Music and the FLUTE!!
