Students utilize their full personal potential only when they are immersed in the present moment. I put this intention - process orientation - at the center of my teaching. I consciously act as a dynamic guide for my students to steer away from the fear-oriented approach, into the intriguing and flexible nature of the 88 keys. 

I’m classically and jazz trained and professionally play jazz music for a living. Jazz is known as a music that incorporates deep levels of learning to enable freedom in improvisation. It really is a wonderful way to utilize musical theory in action. I aim to give my students all of the knowledge I’ve accumulated through my time learning the music - without holding back even one bit.

I don’t cut corners, while meeting the student where one is - I can guide a student to a new plane of piano playing.
