My children took piano and guitar lessons from Katherine. One was a beginner, on the Autism spectrum, and has some difficulty concentrating. Ms. Kat was very patient with him and helped him to learn and feel successful as he worked at his own pace. She connected with him by finding out his interests and ways to motivate and reward his work. I feel this is really going the extra mile and very much appreciated! Having my son feel successful is very important. My other son is an advanced beginner, very self motivated, at piano. Ms. Kat challenged him but also allowed him to go at his own pace. He says he feels that he learned a lot in a fairly short amount of time. My boys describe their teacher as easy-going, kind, and very encouraging. They say she explains everything to them very well and is very patient.

All 3 of my girls took piano lessons from Katherine for quite awhile when she was living in Los Angeles. She always was punctual, had a great disposition, always friendly and trustworthy. I was even able to leave the house a couple times and run errands. I trust her completely!!! The girls really enjoyed her upbeat personality and her patience. Her professionalism was amazing!!! We think of our piano days fondly and would highly recommend her to anyone.
