    About Mort S.

I fell hopelessly in love with the arts of writing for mediums of the spoken word as a boy of eight sitting in the backstage wings of Broadway theaters watching my mother and grandmother performing in dramas, comedies and musicals. It warped my mind. So much so, that I began telling tall tales to any of my school mates and neighbors who would listen (some would run when they saw me coming). When I orated in elementary and high-school, my teachers even suggested to my parents that I suffered some sort of neurological disorder, like linguamania. If I had told anyone back then that I would one day be paid to tell stories, they would have laughed. Now they're still laughing---at my work, not a me. And, hey--who could ask for anything more than earning money doing what you did on street corners for nothing? Now it's your turn.
